TODAY your child will be bringing home their PERSONALIZED order form from the ARTWORK they created in Mrs. Allen’s Class!  Order deadline is November 9th, 2018.  We encourage 100% participation asking families to buy just ONE item!  Let’s get busy raising money for our school! 

Once you receive your child’s package, simply logon to www.square1art.com and enter their access ID code.  You can also purchase items with our new school logo (just use code SCZH4KQX6).  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Allen or email pta4cge.gmail.com.  We hope you enjoy your child’s artwork!

Walk A Thon Winners

Congratulations to our Top Pledge Earners for our annual Walk A Thon!

A HUGE thank you to ALL who participated and helped during this Fundraising Event.  Thank you again to Grace City Church for their help with snow cones for ALL of our students!  Our school raised $1916.00 with 10% donated to Relay for Life ($191.60) and 90% ($1724.40) going to our new Playground Fund!

Walk A Thon

Friday, October 26, 2018 was our annual Walk A Thon Fundraiser.  Students have been collecting pledges from family and friends and 10% of the proceeds go to Relay for Life.  Due to the weather, we held the event in our gym.  Each grade level walked 25 minutes during their enhancement time.  Guests were invited to come walk as well.  Pledges are due by Monday, October 29, 2018.  For more information, visit our link below:

PTA Skate Night

CGE held its 2nd PTA Skate Night on Thursday, October 4, 2018 and WOW, did we have a crowd!!  Our Cardinal mascot even came out for the night!  Skateland USA in Kannapolis provides the class with the most attendees with a prize as well as the PTA!  Our tops winners were:
1st Place ~ Mrs. Lambert’s 2nd Grade Class
2nd Place ~ Mrs. Hetrick’s 1st Grade Class
3rd Place (Tie) ~ Mrs. Sherrill’s 2nd Grade Class & Ms. Meadows 4th Grade Class

Mark your calendar for Thursday, November 1, 2018 for our next skate night from 6:30-9pm!  The cost is $4 and includes admission and skates.  Be sure to mention CGE so you can get counted for your class!

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser

Our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser kicked off on September 12, 2018 and ended September 28, 2018.  Our students sold 294 boxes and 316 BOGO cards raising $8,966!  Our school keeps $4,483!!  Way to go Cardinals!  The top 3 sellers won awesome prizes and the top selling class, Ms. Comer’s 3rd Grade, won a Doughnut Party!!  A HUGE Thank You to everyone that participated to make this a VERY successful fundraiser!
